In trying to understand how God raises a man for himself and sets him over a people and a particular territory, one must understand Supernatural Empowerment

God does not raise a man that is still carnal; a man that refuses to submit under the hand of God and undergo transformation. To raise a man means God is willing to entrust a man with certain level of influence and power that makes him a face of God’s operation. This is what we refer to God lifting a man. This lifting is not something carnal. It is God that is the lifter of man, and this process of His is what Spiritual Empowerment is about.

Basically, the Supernatural is anything beyond the natural. God is spirit, therefore much of His ways are spiritual. The means by which he lifts up a man and grants him influence is spiritual. The wisdom to this uplifting is not something you can understand in the flesh. Yet you can’t deny.

Empowerment means to be endued with power and authority, to be given strength from on high. It is like someone has been clothed with power and sent out to do a work. This is empowerment. Empowerment is to receive enablement, therefore stepping out to execute work.

Thus Supernatural Empowerment is the way by which God enables a man to soar into heights and places he has never functioned before. It is important to understand the place of function here. God will not raise someone who is sitting around and doing nothing. God is in the business of advancing the Kingdom of His Son. To receive enablement from Him is for the purpose of playing a role in the Work of God. It must be repeated, God is raising believers that will play a role. Not a lazy believer. God is after functionaries.
