Glory shift

Paul provides insight into what glory is in this passage (Colossians 1:12-27). We will do well to understand what Paul is talking about here. Understand that we cannot talk about glory without talking about Christ. Yes, glory is held up within a personality. That personality is Christ himself.

Glory does not exist in a vacuum. Glory exist in Christ. We who are gentiles have come into this glory by being born again by repenting from our sins and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We have been born into glory. This is the first thing about glory. No man can access this glory unless he is brought into it first. However, it is important to know that ‘the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).’ In glory, we grow. We grow from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18).  There is a process that God takes us through in order to cleanse and prepare us. Do not give up early. God will accept you as you are, but he will not use you as you are. He will chisel your flesh, train your spirit, break your soul, and work on you till you are able to carry his glory and represent him well. Until we come into the quarters of glory, our life has no meaning. We are simply breathing air, when we die we will have no significance in the Kingdom to come. Every believer has a destiny in God. This is what we call ordination. Your ordination is in the realms of glory. Until you come into glory, until you encounter glory, you cannot understand nor know who you are in God. This makes the matter of glory important. We are not here to fake anything, to try to live out another man’s life. We are here to search out God, and to reveal him to men.    

There are different realms in God. To experience these realms and represent God accurately among men we must understand the presence of God. The difference between genuine ministers of God and fake ministers; those who fake the things of God, or function by different spirits in the name of God, is simply the presence of God. Without the presence of God a Christian’s life will not seem different to those of the world. Without an encounter a Christian will live his days under perpetual limitation. An encounter is what introduces a man to the presence of God, and understanding of His ways is what results in manifesting that dimension of God to men. There are three dimensions in God, seen as realms. These are wisdom, power, and glory. 

Wisdom is a dimension in God. The way into wisdom is by knowledge. No one sitting idle will enter this place. Everything in the world is a product of God’s wisdom. To enter here, one cannot skip the place of wisdom. It is as we give ourselves to knowledge that the Spirit breaths upon us the divine wisdom of God. 

The realm of power is accessed by prayer. Anyone that tarries long in prayer will enter power. Power is a garment worn by those who tarry long in prayer, irrespective of their title. The whole world religion prays, and few who understand this truth become slave of the spirits that they serve. But ours is the true God, but without waiting long in prayer, we will never enter the place of power. 

The realm of glory is the highest realm of the three. The realm of glory is a place of rest. The realm of glory is granted only by the presence of God. This realm is beyond prayer, yet cannot be arrived at without prayer and knowledge. The realm of glory is where all things work for you. One must understand the presence of God in order to enter this place. You cannot fake glory, nor is glory withheld from you. You must understand that glory is granted a believer through the presence of God. Living and walking in glory is not possible if the presence of God is a mystery to us.

These are the basics to walking in perpetual victory. Wisdom is a function of one’s ability to interact with knowledge. Power is gained by tarrying in prayer, and glory is granted when one comes into the presence of God.
